we came here by recommendation and are so so glad we did! What a little gem of a place, the staff are so friendly and warm, the atmosphere is very laid back and the food oh so good! We had the prawn curry and the fish mango curry and both were so rich and flavorful in the best way. The food is not the fastest to arrive (which is honestly great!) so if you’re opting for a quick bite and are rushing, this probably isn’t your place. The people here take time and really care about fresh food, so if that is what you’re after, come and you will 10000% enjoy. Thank you so much for a lovely night

Built and run by local fishermen, it’s fine dining at the beach. Catch of the day cooked in different delicious recipes. Calamari in rosemary butter sauce, mango fish curry, grilled fish with garlic ginger butter, fresh prawns, professional presentation, local vegetables grilled to perfection, incredible flavors, hard to leave and forget , informal friendly atmosphere, have been there twice, will go as much as I can.

Fresh fish, perfect cuison, super friendly service, great ambiance with lights everywhere. They really know there fish and how to cook it, tasty side dishes and great grilled vegies and all made with love. The people who work here really give it a personal touch and try to make you feel at home. We ate here very often and never disappointed us.

This is a delightful shack built from bamboo and palm leaves, just off Marari Beach. I ate here twice and the food was freshly cooked and delicious both times. The vegetarian options exist but are limited; the star is fish and seafood. I had a fabulous prawn curry on my first visit, spicy and oh so flavourful - I dug in and ate with my fingers. Needing just a snack on my second visit, I opted for the seafood sandwich, and it was more than substantial. More suited to western palates, this was again freshly prepared with a portion of perfectly seasoned, piping hot fries on the side. The staff are young, friendly, and eager to please, the location is gorgeous, and the music is chill - 100% recommended.

I dined at this restaurant for three consecutive nights and can’t recommend it enough! Every dish we tried was absolutely 5/5—delicious, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere had such a fantastic vibe. Thank you for an amazing experience—5/5 all around!

If you are a fan of fresh seafood paired with a relaxing ambiance, you definitely need to visit this place. I was looking for seafood, and Fisherman Cafe satisfied my craving. On my first visit, I tried their fish pollichath. They present their catch of the day—fresh fish—and you get to choose. I loved it. I've been coming back multiple times and tried other dishes, I think my favorite is their seafood rice. Oh! you wouldn't want to miss their squid calamaris. You can't find this anywhere because it's their own recipe. Make sure you try that one. The best! Their service is excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff, especially the owners of the place, they'll make you feel right at home. This restaurant delivers on both flavor and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

One of the best options at marari beach. We stayed at this beach for 8 days and visited daily for dinner or lunch. (Sometimes both ) The menu and quality is really different from the other food places. After a few days we realized that all the other location were all pretty the same and on a lower/medium standard. Not this place: it's freshly cooked and all dishes are more uplifted. It's the details: the sauces, the vegetables sides, everything is very fresh and has a great flavor. Like it's charcoal grilled, verrrry good. The fresh fish options are a little more expensive than the other restaurants, but after a few days you will taste the difference. We had prawns and squid and loved both. Today we tried the grilled fish (snapper) and it was the juiciest fish I’ve ever had. The ginger garlic butter spice is pure perfection!!!! All the shakes and juices were great and are prepared with safe water. The waiting time from order to food serving depends on when you visit and how busy it is. We had everything from 15-30 minutes, which we think is very fast, but we tried to avoid the main dinner/lunch hours. But we can imagine that it takes a bit longer when they are busy, since every dish is freshly cooked and nothing is pre-cooked. So you might wanna plan a little waiting time for your visit when coming during main dinner/lunch hours. But: It's worth it and you’ll be able to enjoy their great playlist longer ;-) The service is friendly and inclusive and respectful and we felt very welcome. We loved the relaxed doggies (and the puppies) This restaurant is a vibe!
